Procedure
1.) First of all, you must make sure you have all the materials to start off with and the large bucket of water with the oil spill.
2.) Second step is to pour the 25ml of dish soap with care into the washbasin.
3.) Up on the third step you should check for any signs of change in the mixture.
4.) This time pour the vinegar & baking soda into the washbasin (again with care).
5.) Once again you must observe any changes the vinegar & baking soda might make.
6.) Make sure your observations are recorded as the experiment goes on, like how much it has
contained and absorbed oil spill.
7.) Now take the cotton balls and let it slide on the surface of the mixture then of course record how much oil spill and water were contained and absorbed.
8.) You must now use the reaming material, the sponge and dip it in the mixture and then take it out.
9.) Observe and write down your results on how much was contained and absorbed
10.) Final step is to clean up after the experiment.
